Redwood City, CA (April 17, 2009) — EndoGastric Solutions (EGS), the recognized leader in the emerging field of Natural Orifice Surgery (NOS), today announced completion of an important sales and marketing expansion to support its growing commercialization success. EGS also announced the appointment of Tom Dempsey as Vice President of U.S. Sales, effective immediately.

As part of this broad expansion, EGS grew its direct U.S. sales team from eight to 23 senior territory managers, while hiring two regional managers and its new vice president of sales. Additionally, the company has added field reimbursement expertise and two new marketing managers.
