Position: Product Manager/Marketing
Status: Regular, Full-Time, Exempt Position Located in the San Francisco Area
Job Summary: We currently have an opportunity for a Product Manager who will play a key role in the planning and marketing elements of the company’s product portfolio by actively supporting product development efforts, clinical marketing activities, and customer focused initiatives. The position is based in Redwood City, California, and will have moderate travel requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Work with cross functional teams in the product development process
- Build a deep understanding of clinical information (journals, abstracts, other publications) that affect the Company’s product and procedures
- Identify and monitor industry trends
- Develop a level of expertise on the competitive landscape
- Support launch of new products and product line extensions
- Assist the creation and implementation of marketing programs and materials
- Assist planning and implementation of marketing events
- Provide on-going sales force support including sales training, clinical marketing expertise and field communication to augment sales activities
- Perform ride-along and field visits with sales personnel to understand sales force and customer needs
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Engineering or Sciences
- MBA desirable
- Three or more years of experience in the medical industry in sales, product management, or other marketing positions (field medical sales, technical marketing and marketing communications experience a plus)
- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
- Ability to listen to clinical and customer needs and disseminate information to a variety of channels is a must
- Prioritize needs/requirements and communicate them to cross-functional teams
- Exceptional leadership potential and interpersonal skills are required
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and foster constructive relationships with internal and external customers
